Of about 1300 residents, apx 1000 came out to protest against the unlawful detainment/disappearance of a hardworking mother & her three children. All of whom were going through the proper procedures to become legal immigrants.

I've been seeing a lot of creative #ProtestSigns. Many of which made me nod, some of which made me smile, and a few of which made me laugh out loud. This one made me tear up.

I was still a girl when the first #StarWars movie came out. The first Halloween costume I made for myself was a Princess Leia outfit. That character was one of the first strong female heroes I'd encountered.

"A woman's place is in the resistance." Indeed it is.
