Amazon gave $42 million to the city build its data center in Hobart, Indiana.

That's a nice little chunk of change to spread around, especially when the state slashed local government funding with tax cuts causing schools in Lake County and the state to cut staff and programs.

The billionaires demand austerity so they have money to give to those being starved to incentivize favorable political treatment.

In some cases, immigration officials conducting interior arrests deported people despite discovering they were legally off limits for removal, according to emails obtained by AP.
