People around the country are __coming together in protest to show that optimism in the face of fascism is defiance__.
When we protest in our communities we show that opposition is widespread. Humans are social animals. We follow each other. A demonstration of popular opposition helps reinforce that wherever you are, you’re not alone.
__Courage is contagious, but it only spreads if people see it.__
Join us at the Richmond Park and Ride to say its time to stand up, its time to build a culture of defiance, and its time to say __ICE OUT and NO KINGS.__
A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property. Indivisible is managing data and communications with participants. By registering, you agree to receive info from Indivisible about the event, receive communications via e-mail or SMS message from Indivisible, and receive any other updates and opportunities to take action or support ICE OUT FOR GOOD partner organizations. **Show Up / Speak Out: Protest With a Purpose**
**Williamsport Fight Back Fridays**
Our communities in the 9th District deserve to be heard.
That’s why we Show Up & Speak Out, a weekly campaign to deliver letters and petitions, share our stories, stand up for our communities, and demand action from our legislators. **Congressman Dan Meuser has gone far too long without being held accountable to his constituents, but we’re not letting him get away with that anymore.**
📣 If we can’t get in the door, we’ll make our voices heard outside.
✊ Whether constituents get a visit or it’s a protest with a purpose, we’ll be there — every week.
🗓️ Fridays from 3pm to 4pm – Outside Congressman Dan Meuser’s office (330 Pine Street - Williamsport, PA 17701). We’ll be there – same time/same place – every week.
🏢 We’re gathering outside Meuser’s office, but it’s about more than any one elected official. It’s about holding our representatives accountable at the federal, state, AND local level and fighting for what we deserve.
**This is what democracy looks like here in northeastern PA - we show up and we speak out.**
We’re excited to work alongside Williamsport 50501 for Fight Back Fridays! We work in coalition to create a commonwealth where we all can thrive, not just survive. We hold our elected leaders accountable and empower constituents to take action.

Participants will march silently in coordinated single-file formation through downtown in black clothing, carrying themed protest signs while accompanied only by the steady heartbeat drum.
Participants march silently and directly in line with the person in front of them, at a slow pace, emulating a funeral procession (death of our democracy). We do not acknowledge passersby. We look straight ahead and are expressionless. Our Safety team will lead and flank participants, ensuring safety and providing safe street crossings.
At designated points throughout the march, the formation stops, turns toward the storefronts and restaurants, and raises signs in silent witness before continuing forward.
No chanting.
No screaming.
No chaos.
Just silent, disciplined civic resistance.
This visual, disciplined style of protest has drawn attention across Michigan and around the US, from both viewers and groups interested in replicating Good Trouble Indivisible's model in their own communities. We continue to mentor groups to help them add this 4-March silent protest to their event schedule. Together, we are building a Civic Resistance Ecosystem as we create public awareness with our unique brand of silent marches.
WHAT TO WEAR: Participants wear black clothing.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• This is a silent march.
• Please remain respectful of pedestrians and local businesses.
• Signs will be provided.
• Water & Protein Snacks will be provided.
• Comfortable walking shoes recommended.
Together we remain visible, peaceful, disciplined, and impossible to ignore.

Revolution Meets the Road March: From the Crossing to the Capitol: March to D.C. · Mobilize
Many years ago, when things looked dire and the future of the American Revolution hung in the balance, George Washington mounted a surprise expedition across the Delaware River, winning a crucial victory and boosting morale. We, as a nation, are at another critical moment.
Come with us as we march to the Washington Monument in D.C. Like Washington we will cross the Delaware River and then trek over 170 miles through cities and towns, spreading the message that, together, we can resist the actions of a tyrant.
We will march approximately 15 miles a day.
You can march the whole way, for a day, or a mile!
Start Date: May 23rd at 11 AM
Start Location: Washington Crossing Park in New Jersey
Approximate End Date: June 3rd
End Location: Washington Monument in D.C.
We will be lodging in motels every night.
Last day to reserve your spot to guarantee nightly accommodation is May 1st.
Ways to contribute to the Revolution Meets the Road March:
This will be a costly endeavor, primarily lodging expenses. We are a volunteer group with a very small budget. We would greatly appreciate donations and sponsors. Links will be set up to collect donations. Here are some steps you can take to help.
1. Provide essential supplies (an amazon Wishlist will be linked at some point)
2. Sponsor a participant
3. Sponsor a portion of the trip
Getting to Washington Crossing Park in New Jersey:
Participants are responsible for getting to the park.
If you are coming from Long Island, you can drive or take a train. There are long-term parking lots about 15 mins from the park where you can leave your car and then take a ride share to the starting point.
If we get enough people, we can charter a bus from NYC. But that depends on signups and donations.
What to bring:
We will have some support vehicles that can carry your belongings to the motels each night. Please pack only essentials as space is at a premium. Bring clothes, good sneakers, sunscreen, and hygiene products.
Bring signs! Bring flags! We want to be seen as we march!
More information will be provided as we finalize things. Watch for notifications.
Ready to march? Come with us! Register for the days you want to march so we know how many people to plan for.

# Love as Action: Resisting Authoritarianism
### Quaker public witness has stood in opposition to cruel and authoritarian actions in our country before. It is time for us to show this love in action again.
Please join the American Friends Service Committee and the Lehigh Valley Quaker Meeting to bear witness and show resistance to the authoritarian actions in our country.
On Saturday, June 20 and July 18 at 1 p.m. we will gather at Payrow Plaza, 10 @. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA for one hour of silent public worship.
Our hope is that our presence will give hope to all who see us – to show that we can choose resistance - and remind everyone of our moral obligations to one another.
We gather monthly in communities across the country, showing our communities love in action as a public witness of our Quaker values.
