Received an email today that NRCS Chief Bettencourt is stepping down from her role, after just over a year in the position. Does anyone have any intel on what’s going on here? And why the media has yet to report on it, at least as far as I see? I believe this is the first time an NRCS Chief has stepped down from their role (not including retirement, admin changes) in the 91 years of NRCS.

@gneilyo Congress not doing their job is the root of many of our problems. We are supposed to work and raise a family and devote time to protest and keep adding duct tape to this rickety “democracy”

Something has to give before we are completely shackled by oligarchs AI and fascists. With a functioning system Trump would have never been on the ballot, the constitution explicitly states, instead he has a free pass to follow his bliss and roll out the next #coup attempt #Jan6
