La Fiorentina vince anche al ritorno in Polonia contro il Rakow per 1-2 e vista anche la vittoria in rimonta nel finale dell’andata avanza ai quarti di finale di Conference League. Il Rakow – come nella gara di 7 giorni fa – era andato in vantaggio con Struski, ma la Fiorentina ha reagito di nuovo e ha trovato il pareggio con Piccoli pochi minuti dopo. Nei minuti finali un brivido per la formazione viola: l’arbitro assegna un rigore per fallo di Christensen su Brunes. Poi la revisione al var: simulazione e giallo. Al 97esimo, con il portiere del Rakow in area di rigore alla ricerca disperata del 2-1, la Fiorentina ha anche segnato l’1-2 con un gol di Pongracic da centrocampo. “Nel primo tempo abbiamo fatto fatica a capire che calcio dovessimo fare. Volevamo provare a giocare, ma il campo non lo permetteva. Eravamo in ritardo sulle seconde palle. Nella ripresa siamo andati in svantaggio ma è andata molto meglio. Ora questa squadra sa reagire. Chi è entrato ci ha dato una spinta, siamo diventati un gruppo. A volte, la qualificazione si deve prendere anche in modo sporco”, ha dichiarato l’allenatore della Fiorentina, Paolo Vanoli, ai microfoni di Sky Sport nel post gara. “Ora abbiamo più serenità. Dobbiamo rimanere con i piedi per terra. Piccoli mi ha detto che il gol dell’1-1 era il suo. Pongracic è cresciuto molto da quando sono qua. Il suo gol mi ha sorpreso – aggiunge il tecnico ex Torino -. Kean è un giocatore importante e quando c’è l’arrabbiatura per la sostituzione vuol dire che c’è voglia di giocare. Abbiamo ancora nove finali, è un giocatore importante per noi. Dodò e Parisi si trovano bene sulla stessa fascia. Parisi da esterno alto ci ha fatto cambiare marcia. Sono veramente contento di tutti i ragazzi”.

MONACO DI BAVIERA (GERMANIA) (ITALPRESS) – “Per noi è un motivo di grande orgoglio, siamo l'unica italiana che è negli ottavi di finale di Champions, siamo davvero felici di essere qui e ci godremo questa serata“. Lo ha dichiarato ai microfoni di Sky Sport il tecnico dell'Atalanta Raffaele Palladino alla vigilia del match di ritorno degli ottavi di Champions contro il Bayern Monaco, vincente all'andata a Bergamo per 6-1. “Sappiamo che recuperare cinque gol contro una squadra così forte è difficile, ma vogliamo fare una partita degna di un ottavo di finale – ha aggiunto Palladino – Siamo anche consapevoli che affronteremo una squadra completa, probabilmente la più forte che c'è in Europa. Abbiamo preso troppi gol all'andata, in quel match ho cambiato perchè mi mancavano un pò di giocatori ma non credo che i sistemi ti facciano vincere o perdere le partite, bisogna dare merito agli avversari”.
Nonostante una qualificazione più che ipotecata, il mister nerazzurro è convinto che i suoi non si troveranno davanti una squadra rinunciataria: “Loro se la giocheranno alla morte, la loro mentalità è questa, noi dobbiamo essere consapevoli di ciò. Mi aspetto una partita di orgoglio, ci confrontiamo contro una squadra fortissima davanti a tanti spettatori, cercheremo di fare la nostra prestazione”. Per quanto riguarda la formazione, “De Ketelaere ed Ederson sono a disposizione, per noi sono due giocatori importanti. Abbiamo ritrovato anche Raspadori: abbiamo sentito la loro mancanza, sono tutti a disposizione e cercheremo di gestirli nel miglior modo possibile per fargli ritrovare la condizione”, ha concluso Palladino. “Ovvio che la prima partita sia andata male, vogliamo conquistare un buon risultato domani, faremo di tutto per vincere la partita. Il confronto con Kane? E' sempre bello giocare contro i grandi campioni, ma per me non cambia nulla. Questa è la teoria di Alessandro Costacurta sull’episodio più contestato di Milan–Inter, il derby vinto 1 a 0 dai rossoneri. Il riferimento è ovviamente al tocco di braccio di Samuele Ricci in area di rigore, con i nerazzurri che hanno protestato chiedendo un penalty. L’arbitro Doveri in campo non ha visto nulla, ma non è stato richiamato dal Var (Abisso e Di Bello). Sull’episodio i cosiddetti moviolisti si sono divisi: per alcuni, come Graziano Cesari, era rigore netto. Per altri invece il movimento di Ricci era congruo.
Costacurta ne ha parlato nello studio del Club di Sky Sport, lasciando un po’ spiazzati il padrone di casa Fabio Caressa e gli altri ospiti. “Questo tipo di rigore, che secondo me non è mai rigore, tranne fino a due settimane fa, perché fino a due settimane fa questo era penalty. Mi piace che da adesso in poi non venga più considerato tale”, ha detto l’ex calciatore del Milan e della Nazionale. Caressa allora ha sottolineato che se c’è stato un cambio di regolamento a campionato in corso, quanto meno avrebbe dovuto essere comunicato. Di fronte a questa riflessione, però Costacurta si è infastidito.
“Perché magari non ci piace il fatto che si stia facendo giocare di più come non si faceva prima?”, ha detto ancora l’ex difensore, complicando il suo ragionamento. Non trovando appoggio negli altri presenti in studio, si è innervosito: “Ma come? Fino a due settimane fa abbiamo rotto i co***oni perché ogni volta davano dei rigori del cavolo…“. Poi Costacurta ha provato a chiudere il discorso: “Probabilmente loro hanno visto e hanno valutato. Probabilmente non era un rigore netto, non l’ha mica parato. C’è qualcuno che ha detto che secondo loro non era rigore, quindi non era rigore. Allora mi chiedo: perché ci stiamo perdendo così tanto tempo?”.
