AGI - L'Atalanta vince 3-0 in casa del Lecce e accorcia le distanze sulla Roma e sul Como, portandosi a -1 dalla zona Europa e a -5 dal quarto posto e rimanendo in corsa per la qualificazione alla prossima Champions League. Decisive le reti messe a segno da Scalvini, Krstovic e Raspadori, sabato ci sarà lo scontro diretto contro la Juventus, a Bergamo. I salentini non hanno sfruttato la doppia frenata di Cremonese e Cagliari rimanendo a quota 27, in terz'ultima posizione, nel prossimo turno ci sarà la sfida contro il Bologna.
La partita è cominciata con una protesta di un quarto d'ora da parte della curva nord dei padroni di casa a causa delle restrizioni che hanno colpito i tifosi giallorossi. Il 4-2-3-1 pensato da Di Francesco ha imbrigliato il palleggio atalantino, Ederson e De Roon hanno faticato a creare gioco anche per via del pressing di Fofana.
Le prime occasioni e il vantaggio di Scalvini
Il centrocampista togolese si è divorato la prima occasione della partita calciando alto dopo un'azione manovrata dei suoi. La risposta dell'Atalanta è arrivata con De Ketelaere su sponda di Krstovic, ma Falcone si è superato deviando in calcio d'angolo. Al 29', dopo una fase di stallo, l'Atalanta ha trovato la rete del vantaggio: Scalvini, dopo essersi sganciato coi tempi giusti, ha fintato il tiro superando prima Ndaba e trovando poi la conclusione del vantaggio.
La ripresa e il tris nerazzurro
Al tramonto del primo tempo Krstovic, di prima intenzione, ha avuto la chance per il 2-0, ma Falcone si è superato nuovamente con un ottimo intervento. Nella ripresa i bergamaschi hanno iniziato con un ritmo differente, dopo pochi minuti è stato annullato un gol ad Ederson per una posizione di fuorigioco. Al 14' della ripresa, Krstovic - ancora imbeccato da De Ketelaere -, ha segnato il 2-0 con troppa facilità, a causa di una disattenzione della difesa leccese. Di Francesco ha provato a mescolare le carte, ma non è bastato per ribaltare l'inerzia di una partita già scritta. Palladino ha sfruttato le occasioni per un paio di rotazioni, e al 28' Raspadori, dopo una serie di rimpalli, ha chiuso definitivamente i giochi scaricando in rete il pallone dello 0-3.

BERGAMO (ITALPRESS) – L'Atalanta torna alla vittoria in campionato, dopo un mese d'astinenza, battendo il Verona 1-0 grazie alla rete di Zappacosta, realizzata nel primo tempo. I nerazzurri salgono a quota 50 punti e avvicinano la zona Europa. E' notte fonda, invece, per i gialloblù, che restano all'ultimo posto a quota 18, in compagnia del Pisa. Palladino, senza Scamacca fermatosi a causa di una lesione muscolo-fasciale all'adduttore destro (ma l'attaccante risponderà comunque alla chiamata di Gattuso), ha mandato in campo la miglior formazione possibile, con De Ketelaere e Zalewski alle spalle di Krstovic. Il Verona, alla disperata ricerca di punti salvezza, ha schierato il classico 3-5-2, con Orban e Bowie come riferimenti offensivi. MONACO DI BAVIERA (GERMANIA) (ITALPRESS) – “Per noi è un motivo di grande orgoglio, siamo l'unica italiana che è negli ottavi di finale di Champions, siamo davvero felici di essere qui e ci godremo questa serata“. Lo ha dichiarato ai microfoni di Sky Sport il tecnico dell'Atalanta Raffaele Palladino alla vigilia del match di ritorno degli ottavi di Champions contro il Bayern Monaco, vincente all'andata a Bergamo per 6-1. “Sappiamo che recuperare cinque gol contro una squadra così forte è difficile, ma vogliamo fare una partita degna di un ottavo di finale – ha aggiunto Palladino – Siamo anche consapevoli che affronteremo una squadra completa, probabilmente la più forte che c'è in Europa. Abbiamo preso troppi gol all'andata, in quel match ho cambiato perchè mi mancavano un pò di giocatori ma non credo che i sistemi ti facciano vincere o perdere le partite, bisogna dare merito agli avversari”.
Nonostante una qualificazione più che ipotecata, il mister nerazzurro è convinto che i suoi non si troveranno davanti una squadra rinunciataria: “Loro se la giocheranno alla morte, la loro mentalità è questa, noi dobbiamo essere consapevoli di ciò. Mi aspetto una partita di orgoglio, ci confrontiamo contro una squadra fortissima davanti a tanti spettatori, cercheremo di fare la nostra prestazione”. Per quanto riguarda la formazione, “De Ketelaere ed Ederson sono a disposizione, per noi sono due giocatori importanti. Abbiamo ritrovato anche Raspadori: abbiamo sentito la loro mancanza, sono tutti a disposizione e cercheremo di gestirli nel miglior modo possibile per fargli ritrovare la condizione”, ha concluso Palladino. “Ovvio che la prima partita sia andata male, vogliamo conquistare un buon risultato domani, faremo di tutto per vincere la partita. Il confronto con Kane? E' sempre bello giocare contro i grandi campioni, ma per me non cambia nulla.
