However, they also release #CO2/#methane through microorganism activities. Furthermore, #lakeswarmup faster than surrounding air. L. Huang et al.(2024) address this and predict #shifts in #aquaticspecies #distributions and rearrangements of #freshwaterhabitats.

Which #geochronological #method helps to determine the #age of #sediments as precisely as possible in order to reconstruct biotic, ecological, and #climatic relationships over the course of geological eras? R. T. Tucker et al. (2025) were able to precisely date the #eggshells of non-avian #dinosaurs using a novel LA-ICP-MS U-Pb #calcitedating method. This enabled them, for the first time, to date the Upper Cretaceous strata of the #GobiBasin (Mongolia) radioisotopically.

Ça tangue dans la baie comme ça tangue dans ma tête ! J’aime jouer avec les mots comme j’aime jouer avec les images. À marée basse le Mont-Saint-Michel s’amuse de son reflet sur le sable mouillé, la « tangue* » grise et les algues ruisselantes. Nous connaissons tous ces images qui font la promotion du Mont. Je n’aime pas beaucoup les refaire alors je tente autre chose qui n’a rien à voir…

His group has tracked changes in drainage patterns during the final deglaciation of Minnesota (~11 thousand years ago) to changes in erosion rates since the advent of mechanical agriculture.
