I'm switching knit fabrics! The left set here is the original, the middle one is the most recent print from the same source, and the right set is the cotton knit I'm switching to, effective immediately.
I actually like it better! It's softer inside and stretchier, the ink is just a little less saturated.
My apologies to anyone who truly loved the old fabric - I did too! But I cannot accept that quality of fabric any longer, and it's time to move on. ✨

I'm also working on my Activism Abecedary. Well, if "working" includes fabric shopping. Found just barely enough of this Windham fabric for the back, so it seemed a destiny purchase (the fabric line is Dream by Jill McDonald)
A little fabric purchase vlog and talking about projects for this week's video.

What's on my design wall today?
This little beauty. Just put the blocks up for now, but will definitely be moving them around.
This one is using up my little squares from some panels called "What Quilters Really Think", along with some batik scraps from an ebay seller many years ago.

Took my wife to Zinck’s Fabric Outlet. I thought we were “just stopping in.” Rookie mistake. Forty minutes later I’m hauling fabric like I work there while she debates patterns like it’s a life decision. I came for moral support and left as the official fabric carrier.

Zinck’s Fabric Outlet out near Holmes County isn’t some fancy big-city craft boutique with overpriced “artisan vibes.” It’s a giant, no-nonsense warehouse packed wall to wall with fabric, and people who sew know it’s basically the promised land. You’ll find quilting cotton, fleece, upholstery fabric, and random bolts you didn’t know you needed until you see the price tag and suddenly you’re loading up the cart. It sits right in the middle of Amish Country near Millersburg, which somehow makes the whole place feel even more authentic. If you like sewing, quilting, or just love the thrill of scoring ridiculous deals on fabric, Zinck’s is the kind of place where you walk in for one thing and walk out wondering how your trunk got filled with ten yards of something you’re absolutely going to use someday.
