Update: Donated to JVP

Last of my #AllSummerLongArm quilts; today I hope to start piecing new projects again

This quilt is on the smaller side and is available (though it's not washable so it would be better for a display piece than a cuddle quilt.) If you are interested, let me know - it's free, but US only please

Update: found a home!

Although #AllSummerLongArm is technically over, I still have 2 quilts to post

This quilt is looking for a forever home! If a big, warm, fun quilt like this appeals to you, DM me-been quilting for 25 years, have too many to use myself, and I'd love this one to go to a trans person or ally, maybe in tech?, who would appreciate it πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

ROBOTS VS BINARIES

As I near the end of this year’s #AllSummerLongArm (only three quilts left to bind!) I fear I’ve once again learned nothing - the # of quilts I want to make is now bigger than the # of quilts I finished

#Quilting

Quilt #12 - 28,622 stitches

June - 325,390 stitches
July - 315,588 stitches

#AllSummerLongArm - 640,978 stitches

And that's a wrap for #AllSummerLongArm 2025! Now I'm moving on to binding, and because of a quirk of smaller projects and what I had partially finished before the summer began, I have 15 items to finish and photo in August. One every two days is doable, right? 😬

#Quilting

Quilt #11 - 43,039 stitches

June - 325,390 stitches
July - 286,966 stitches

#AllSummerLongArm - 612,356 stitches

I am so close to getting all the quilts done that I hoped to get done this summer πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

#Quilting

Quilt #10 - 53,688 stitches

June - 325,390 stitches
July - 243,927 stitches

#AllSummerLongArm - 569,317 stitches

Particularly amusing to me that this quilt, #10, was my giant mint chocolate ice cream cone quilt and I finished the quilting on for it on National Ice Cream Day

Particularly annoying to me that there is no ice cream in the house to enjoy in celebration

If it all works out (and it's looking good,) I'll finish 14 total quilts during #AllSummerLongArm 2025

I have added 13 new quilt ideas to my to-do list

14 >13

I am calling this progress

#Quilting

Quilt #9 - 128,031 stitches

June - 325,390 stitches
July - 190,239 stitches

#AllSummerLongArm - 515,629 stitches

Turns out, stitching lines 1/4" apart to simulate wood grain results in a *LOT* more stitches than you'd expect (but it sure goes fast when you're winging it!)

#Quilting

I am a longarm quilter that prefers to use rulers. All 8 quilts I’ve done so far this #AllSummerLongArm have been ruler based

But, for this 9th one, I’m free quilting wood grain β€” and it’s the quilting equivalent of getting to be naked 24-7 while your roommate is away

Wheeeeeee!

#Quilting

Quilt #8 - 42,620 stitches

June - 325,390 stitches
July - 62,208 stitches

#AllSummerLongArm - 387,598 stitches

While waiting for the thread I needed, I did get binding on the previous 7 quilts, so, while July isn't looking quite as productive longarm-wise, I still got stuff done
