#Paktika: Distribution of 40.8 million Afghanis in cash assistance begins for 400 #internally_displaced families.

The Afghan Red Crescent (ARCS) began distributing 40.8 million Afghanis in cash assistance to 400 internally displaced families in the Sarobi and Argon districts of Paktika Province.

During the #assistance distribution, Mawlawi Sayed Minhajuddin Hashimi, Head of the ARCS Southeast Zone, stated that the ARCS pays special attention to supporting families displaced by conflict. He added that the organization has so far provided approximately 150 million Afghanis in cash assistance to nearly 10,700 families in the provinces of Paktika, Paktia, and Khost, and has also distributed tents and essential household items to another 100 families.

Mawlawi Arifullah Hamid, Head of the ARCS Paktika Provincial Branch, said that today, with financial support from the #Danish_Red_Cross, 40.8 million Afghanis is being distributed to 400 displaced families in the Sarobi and Argon districts, with each family receiving 10,500 Afghanis.

He further noted that the ARCS has already distributed 40.8 million Afghanis in cash assistance to 2,900 internally displaced families in Paktika. In the near future, 500 families in the Barmal and Terwa districts will also receive cash assistance, and tents will be distributed to another 100 families.

The ARCS considers #supporting affected and displaced families due to disasters and events as a humanitarian responsibility and strives to meet their basic needs through emergency assistance.

#هلال‌احمر_افغانی روند توزیع ۴۰.۸ میلیون افغانی کمک نقدی را برای ۴۰۰ خانواده بی‌جاشده داخلی در ولسوالی‌های سروبی و ارگون ولایت پکتیکا آغاز کرد.

در جریان توزیع #کمک‌ها، مولوی سید منهاج‌الدین هاشمی، رئیس زون جنوب‌شرق هلال‌احمر افغانی گفت: هلال‌احمر افغانی به حمایت از خانواده‌های بی‌جاشده ناشی از جنگ، توجه خاص داشته و تاکنون در ولایت‌های پکتیکا، #پکتیا و #خوست، برای نزدیک به ۱۰۷۰۰ خانواده، حدود ۱۵۰ میلیون افغانی کمک نقدی توزیع کرده است. همچنان برای ۱۰۰ خانواده دیگر، خیمه و لوازم ضروری منزل نیز توزیع شده است.

همچنان مولوی عارف‌الله حامد، رئیس نمایندگی ولایتی هلال‌احمر افغانی در ولایت پکتیکا گفت که امروز برای ۴۰۰ خانواده بی‌جاشده در ولسوالی‌های سروبی و ارگون، با حمایت مالی #صلیب‌سرخ_دنمارک، مبلغ ۴۰.۸ میلیون افغانی توزیع می‌شود که هر خانواده ۱۰۵۰۰ افغانی دریافت خواهد کرد.

وی افزود که از سوی هلال‌احمر افغانی در ولایت پکتیکا، برای ۲۹۰۰ خانواده بی‌جاشده داخلی، مبلغ ۴۰.۸ میلیون افغانی کمک نقدی توزیع شده است. همچنان در آینده نزدیک، در ولسوالی‌های برمل و تروو، افزون بر توزیع کمک نقدی برای ۵۰۰ خانواده، برای ۱۰۰ خانواده دیگر نیز خیمه توزیع خواهد شد.

هلال‌احمر افغانی #حمایت از خانواده‌های آسیب‌دیده و بی‌جاشده بر اثر حوادث و رویدادها را مسئولیت انسانی خود دانسته و تلاش می‌کند از طریق ارائه کمک‌های اضطراری، #نیازهای_اولیه آنان را برطرف نماید.

د #افغاني_سرې_میاشتې له لوري د اقلیمي بدلونونو پروژې په چوکاټ کې د هرات ولایت په شینډنډ او زنده‌جان ولسوالیو کې ۷۹ #راستنو_شویو او #زیانمنو کورنیو ته یو میلیون او ۵۸۰ زره افغانۍ نغدي مرسته ورکړل شوه، څو د خپلو #کوچنیو_کاروبارونو د پیل او پراختیا لپاره ترې ګټه واخلي.

دغه مرسته د ملي ټولنو #نړیوال_فدراسیون په مالي ملاتړ چمتو شوې وه، چې له مخې یې هر کورنۍ ته ۲۰ زره افغانۍ ورکړل شوې.

#Herat: Cash Assistance Provided to 79 Returnee Families for #Small_Businesses

The #ARCS, under the Climate Change Project, distributed 1,580,000 AFN in cash assistance to 79 #returnee and #vulnerable families in the Shindand and Zendeh Jan districts of Herat Province to help them establish and expand small businesses.

The #assistance was provided by the #IFRC, through which each family received 20,000 AFN.

The program targeted returnee families who had been affected not only by #economic_hardship, but also by natural disasters and the impacts of #climate_change. Although they possessed vocational skills, they lacked the financial resources needed to start their own businesses.

The #beneficiaries are expected to establish or expand small businesses in areas such as beekeeping, tailoring, welding, plumbing, electrical services, embroidery, refrigerator repair, mobile phone repair, and other skilled trades.

Following the #distribution of assistance, the beneficiaries purchased the necessary tools and equipment for their businesses from local markets in the presence of the ARCS delegation.

It is worth noting that this assistance represents the first phase of the #program, while a second phase of support is scheduled to be provided in the coming months after the businesses have been launched.

The program is being implemented to #strengthen the economic resilience of vulnerable and returnee families, create livelihood opportunities, and promote self-reliance.

Through #vocational and livelihood support programs, ARCS strives to provide vulnerable and returnee families with opportunities for employment, #income generation, and economic stability.
