Khost: Health Kits Distributed to 54 Volunteers

The Afghan Red Crescent Society distributed health kits to 54 male and female volunteers in the center of Khost Province, as well as the Zazi Maidan and Gurbuz districts. Each volunteer received one kit.

These items will be distributed to the public by the volunteers during Afghan Red Crescent Society awareness gatherings.

The volunteers will raise public awareness about health, hygiene, and preventative measures through awareness campaigns.

The Afghan Red Crescent Society implements activities like this to strengthen public awareness and improve health services.

#ورکشاپ آموزشی شش‌روزه برای آمرین کلینیک‌ها به منظور پیشگیری بیماری‌های ساری در ولایت #پکتیا به پایان رسید

ورکشاپ آموزشی شش‌روزه با موضوع #بیماری‌های_ساری، که از سوی #هلال‌احمر_افغانی برای آمرین کلینیک‌های ثابت از پنج ولایت در سطح زون جنوب‌شرق در ولایت پکتیا برگزار شده بود، با توزیع تصدیق‌نامه‌ها به پایان رسید.

در این ورکشاپ، معلومات جامع درباره #شناسایی بیماری‌های ساری، انواع آن‌ها، نحوه انتقال، مسیرهای شیوع، و روش‌های پیشگیری و تدابیر وقایوی به شرکت‌کنندگان ارائه شد.

هدف از این #آموزش این بود که شرکت‌کنندگان بتوانند در مراکز صحی مربوطه خود، خدمات مسلکی و معیاری را در زمینه کنترل، پیشگیری و مدیریت مؤثر بیماری‌های ساری ارائه کنند.

هلال‌احمر افغانی به منظور تقویت #خدمات_بشری و #صحی خود، به طور دوامدار در ولایات مختلف چنین ورکشاپ‌های آموزشی را برگزار می‌کند تا توانمندی‌های مسلکی کارمندان صحی افزایش یافته و روند پیشگیری و کنترل بیماری‌های ساری در سطح جامعه مؤثرتر گردد.

A Six-Day #Workshop on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases for Clinic Managers Concludes in #Paktia

The #ARCS concluded a six-day training workshop on #infectious_diseases for managers of basic health clinics from five provinces at the southeastern regional level in Paktia. The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants.

During the workshop, #participants received comprehensive training on the identification, types, modes of transmission, spread, and preventive measures related to infectious diseases.

The #purpose of the training was to equip participants to provide professional and high-quality services in the control, prevention, and effective management of infectious diseases at their respective health centers.

To #strengthen its humanitarian and health services, the ARCS regularly conducts similar training workshops across provinces to enhance the #professional_skills of health workers and improve the effectiveness of infectious disease #prevention and control at the community level.

#ARCS Vice President Discusses Polio Prevention with #Bill & #Melinda_Gates Foundation Representative

Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, held an online meeting with Ms. Ana Maria, Head of the #Polio Program for Asia at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to discuss polio prevention, strengthening #vaccination campaigns, and future cooperation in #Afghanistan.

Mr. Rahman expressed gratitude for the Foundation’s continued support for polio vaccination and highlighted the successful rollout of vaccination programs across Afghanistan in 2025. He assured that the ARCS will #strengthen its efforts to eradicate polio.

Ms. Ana Maria praised ARCS’s critical role in polio prevention, noting that eradicating polio in the #region requires joint and sustained efforts. She emphasized that vaccination programs must continue systematically to ensure all #children are reached and the disease is ultimately eliminated.
