Afghan Red Crescent distributed food and non-food aid to 600 internally displaced families in the Zeri Arieb district of Paktia province.
The aid packages include ten items, but the displaced families are requesting more assistance.
This comes as the office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate has instructed relevant agencies to prepare emergency aid for the displaced families.

The Governor of Paktia, الحاج ملا مهرالله “Hamad,” met with officials of the Conflict Resolution Committee.

The Governor of Paktia, الحاج ملا مهرالله “Hamad,” held a meeting in his office with the officials and members of the Conflict Resolution Committee, where a comprehensive discussion took place regarding the committee’s recent activities, achievements, and future plans.
Initially, the head of the committee and the chief of Paktia province’s borders, tribes, and clans, Mufti Naseer Ahmad Taeb, shared information regarding the activities of the Conflict Resolution Committee and expressed appreciation for the continued support of the provincial administration in strengthening the committee’s activities.
Representatives from the Mirzakhel district also participated in the meeting and expressed gratitude for the elimination of past bad practices following the arrival of the Islamic Emirate. They assured officials that they would fully cooperate with them in eliminating these past practices within their tribes.
At the same time, the Governor of Paktia, الحاج ملا مهرالله Hamad, praised the committee’s activities, assured them of full cooperation, and advised them to exercise utmost caution in resolving past tribal conflicts and to expedite their work so that the people can live in a peaceful and secure environment.
The Governor emphasized the importance of the role of tribal elders in this regard and stressed that tribal leaders should strengthen unity among their people, prevent harmful customs, and cooperate with their officials to end long-standing feuds.

#هلالاحمر_افغانی به ۶۰۰ خانواده بیجاشده داخلی در ولسوالی ځاځی آریوب ولایت پکتیا، کمکهای غذایی و غیرغذایی توزیع نمود.
در این #کمک، به هر خانواده ۸ کیلوگرام شیر خشک، ۸ کیلوگرام سریلاک، ۱۳ پاکت بیسکویت، ۳ پاکت حلوا، ۲ کیلو خرما، ۴ تخته کمپل، ۲ بسته آب آشامیدنی و شماری دیگر از مواد ضروری مساعدت شد.
این کمک بهمنظور تأمین #نیازهای_کوتاهمدت خانوادههای بیجاشده فراهم شده بود.
هلالاحمر افغانی در پرتو اصول اساسی خود تلاش میکند تا به خانوادههای #آسیبدیده از حوادث دسترسی پیدا کرده و مشکلات آنان را کاهش دهد.

The #ARCS, with support from the #Peace_Village_International, distributed food and non-food assistance to 600 internally displaced families in Zazi Aryob District of Paktia Province.
Each family received 8 kg of powdered milk, 8 kg of baby cereal, 13 packets of biscuits, 3 packets of halwa, 2 kg of dates, 4 blankets, 2 bundles of drinking water, and a number of other essential items.
This #assistance was provided to meet the short-term needs of internally displaced families.
Guided by its fundamental principles, the ARCS strives to reach families affected by #disasters and help alleviate their difficulties.

A coordination meeting was held with the officials and teachers of madrassas to mark the beginning of the new academic year.
Date: 1447/10/11 AH
Under the coordination of the leadership of Paktia province, the Department of Education held a large-scale coordination meeting with the officials and teachers of madrassas in the central city of Gardez and all districts of the province to mark the beginning of the new academic year.
The meeting, attended by approximately 200 madrassa officials and teachers, was held at the Paktia Department of Education.
Attendees included Paktia Deputy Governor, Hajj Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin, Chairman of the Council of Scholars, Sheikh Saleh Mohammad Faqir, Head of the Department of Education, Hajj Molvi Abdul Qayyum Faruqi, and officials from several other organizations.
During the meeting, Paktia Deputy Governor, Hajj Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin, highlighted the importance, virtue, and vital necessity of education and emphasized that strengthening religious and modern education is essential for shaping and progressing the country's future.
Sheikh Salahuddin urged madrassa officials and teachers to pay special attention to the quality of teaching, raise educational standards, and be more serious and organized in fulfilling their important responsibilities.
Subsequently, the Chairman of the Council of Scholars, in his speech, emphasized the complete implementation of the Ministry of Education’s madrassa curriculum and recommended adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
The Head of the Department of Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil, Molvi حجت الله Paacha, called the cooperation of scholars and teachers crucial in implementing this law and considered their role vital for the reform of society.
The Head of the Department of Education, Hajj Molvi Abdul Qayyum Faruqi, reaffirmed the implementation of the respected leadership’s directives, guidance, and the Ministry of Education's principles, shared last year’s shortcomings with the officials, and requested that they prevent repetition in the new year. He also thanked the provincial authorities for their continued coordination and support.
Madrassa officials praised the efforts of the Department of Education and pledged to fully implement the laws and regulations of the Islamic Emirate.
It is noteworthy that members of a special commission, under the leadership of the Paktia Council of Scholars, tasked with monitoring the activities of various organizations, also participated in the meeting and made recommendations to the officials regarding improving operations.
Finally, a cash reward was presented to the madrassa officials on behalf of the provincial authorities.
The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodness and blessings.
