We need to hurry up and fucking jettison the idea that people who go to prison "belong there", because a lot of us are at risk of "belonging there" soon enough.

Prisons by their very nature are oppressive. All prisoners are political prisoners.

Disabled people are screaming about fascism because they know their lives are at risk.

They’re screaming about Medicaid cuts because they know the targets aren’t “scammers”, but everyday people who are barely scraping by.

They understand that the world views us as expendable, so most people won’t fight for us.

It’s why the Nazis targeted us first.

It’s why we were “left by the wayside” when everyone rushed back to normal after Covid lockdowns.

This isn’t theoretical for us, it’s life and death right now.
