@Norobiik Demining with drones is such an obvious idea I'm surprised it has taken this long.
In the combat situation, a basic remote controlled toy truck pulling a line of thick detonating cord forward would make a good modern day advance on the Bangalore Torpedo. The truck should have a claymore type device on the front so you can use it against a target and also clear the path from you to the target.
