#Ukrainian Defender #Yevdokym_Serdiuk from #Pokrovsk, #Donetsk region, joined the #56th Motorized Brigade in 2022 and fought in #Zaporizhzhia and #Donetsk regions, including in #Bakhmut. In 2023, he lost both legs in a #Russian drone attack.

Now, #Yevdokym is working as a prosthetics instructor at the #TYTANOVI rehabilitation center, helping other Defenders learn to walk again.

#Yevdokym visited a shopping mall in Kyiv dressed as Santa.

As I understand many Ukraininians die there every day but since a week no progress was made by Russians.

Basically its #Bakhmut 2.0 but this time though everything is covered by #drones so human warfare in Pokrovsk can't attack nor defend the city.

Un oficial ucraniano (officer_33) comenta que en la primavera de 2025, un soldado ucraniano pasaba entre 200 y 300 días en una posición del frente. Anteriormente era entre 60 y 70 días, lo cual significaba una barbaridad que provocaba multitud de quejas. Ahora hay casos de hasta 470 días, lo cual no deja de ser hasta causar baja. El mismo oficial confiesa que hay muchos más casos que terminan así, que no con una "salida exitosa".
Si recuerdan, hace tiempo, dos años quizá, ya alertamos que la media en el frente de un ucraniano era de +/- dos meses antes de ser rotado. Por entonces la del ruso era de 15 días, excepto durante la ofensiva ucraniana en #Zaporiyia y los Wagner en #Bakhmut.

Nadie en su sano juicio podía esperar, la pasada primavera e incluso este verano, que en noviembre veríamos algo así, la ciudad más fortificada y de difícil acceso del #Donetsk, hasta ahora ucraniano, ayer con un 25% de ella tomada y prácticamente cercada.
La gente que sigue la guerra y los medios en general, miran #Prokovsk; sin embargo, hay ciudades estratégicamente más importantes, aunque nosotros no entendamos el porqué. Es lo que tiene convertir ciudades en símbolos. El independiente de #Suriyakmaps y el filo ucraniano independiente de #MilitaryAnalytics. La realidad es que el ruso siempre deja una salida medio suicida en los cercos. Así evita bajas mientras las provoca al contrario. En cuanto a #Pokrovsk, el ucraniano infiltra gente diariamente, que muere o, en el mejor de los casos, es capturada, solo para decir que la ciudad aún resiste.
En una guerra militar de políticos contra militares siempre ganan esos últimos. La #OTAN lo descubrió a finales de 2022 en #Bakhmut, pero sigue igual.
