A tough yet slow trail run. I felt completely unfit for the first 10km and had to walk each uphill part. After 10km it became slightly better, however I still needed to walk the remaining uphill parts. But I am glad I was able to finish the run maintaining the targeted HR2.

Trailrun with a friend from Bauma to Kempten (zh). Nice trails some steep ascents and enjoyable, slightly technical descents. Exception was the first descent with slippery wooden stairs which was the one part we didn't run for safety reasons. However more time to enjoy nthe nature.

First longer interval run of the current season. With nice switches between ups and downs, walking and running with and without poles to maintain the targeted HF.

Over all 15km, 1km warmup, followed by 4 times 1km HF 2 and 2km high HF3 / low HF4, finished by 2km cool down.

last week was #peakweek in preparation for the #K110 at #innsbruckalpinetrailrunfestival. It didn't feel hard, ... I hope I did enough.

In total it was 110km with 4200m of elevation gain of #running plus two strength training sessions.

Now it's time to (slowly) transition to #tapering.

This morning I did a #run around #bergisel and then up to Viller- and Lanser Köpfl. Where I had an amaizing view of #patscherkofel, Lans and #lansersee.

Now its time to transition to tapering for the #IATF2026, where I am signed up for the #K110.
