Hab seit ewiger Zeit mal wieder einen (für meine Verhältnisse sehr) langen Lauf gemacht, bin zufrieden. Hätte mir vielleicht noch nen Snack für die letzten Kilometer einplanen sollen.

Needed a lot of motivation to get out the door today, took 3 attempts before I was in the right place. Training plan for today should have been 14km zone 2 and 6.5 km zone 3 but with the chosen route everything blended into one. Tbh not one of my better runs but I’ll mark it down to sheer determination and getting the job done #running #longrun #coros #runnersofmastodon

Today part of my #longrun 🏃🏻‍♂️ was on Fleam Dyke. This is a miles-long mound of earth running N-S with a trench to the W. It was made by the Saxons late 5th-early 7th centuries to control traffic and trade into East Anglia from the west. I returned on the Roman Road 🛡️ #trailrunning #running

How come every time i do a long run, no matter how I feel about it afterwards, i can barely eat what I normally eat and then two days later I am attacking the fridge and eating like a bear? 🤷‍♀️

First #longrun after last weekend's #marathon, and also my first #trailrun since maybe January, since I was running only flat routes while preparing for the marathon. I missed the trails a lot! :)

I couldn't have picked a better day - sunny, clear skies, with just enough fresh wind to keep me cool. 😎

On my way, I saw a small herd of #goats having a siesta in the tree shadow, without a single care in the world. :)
