This is one of my fave sequences for heavy training to such an extent that I immediately associate it with summer and longer long runs & rides. It's not summer here just now but this practice is still so good.

Der letzte #LongRun vor dem #DreiLänderMarathon. Jetzt wird der Trainingsumfang und die Kohlenhydrate reduziert, um dann gezielt die Speicher wieder aufzuladen.

Heutige Einheit: langsamer HM plus 10k Wettkampftempo. Der Puls ist konstant und deutlich unter der Schwelle geblieben, aber ich habe ziemlichen Respekt vor der pace. Ich peile eine Verbesserung der persönlichen Bestzeit um 8 Minuten an.

In zwei Wochen geht es an die Startlinie.

Beautiful afternoon for a long run. Nice checkin with the training. I have had to increase cadence to maintain heart rate with the drop in temperature. Feeling good. Going to aim for late October for an unofficial race. The flowers are still blooming as the leaves kick off. Go outside and soak it up!
