Kenny KravitzAs a recovering Meltonian, I feel obliged to point out that Stilton cheese was never actually made in Stilton. It was made in Melton Mowbray but sold primarily in Stilton because that was the nearest point on the Great North Road (today known as the A1).

I was discussing whether or not you could make a cheese ice cream with my friend and if so which cheese. I think #Stilton, sweet and creamy. She thinks #Wensleydale, bland. #Ricotta, we agree, would be cheating.
