The least liked of the BoF Games. The cell shading did not look right for the series. Taking place underground & a big change in gameplay led to lackluster reviews & an end to the franchise.

I finally painted another #miniature today! Maybe my second one ever? I'm proud of how it turned out actually.

It's one of Reaper Miniatures' "Nova Corps" troops. I think I'll make the others unique colors too, kinda like Master Chief's armor shades in Halo:CE. 😁

I find the refrigerator makes an excellent lighting environment. O.o

Hello Montreal fediverse!

In the next month or two I will start hosting a weekly in-person tabletop role-playing gathering on Sunday afternoons that I am calling Killed by Dice. It will probably be situated at my workplace in Saint-Henri, unless there is a better option (I need to let people in at my workplace).

The focus of this gathering will be to play small, indie, free, and/or out-of-print games from across the ~50 year history of the medium. The aim is to show some appreciation to the lesser known or played games and to celebrate the medium itself. (There are many venues to play the big, current commercial options but very few to play anything else.)

Between now and then, I will prepare a few options to play for different group sizes, genres and levels of commitment. Beginners welcome (and encouraged!).
