Some terrain work for #MiniaturesMonday: experiment using dyed, carded wool roving as foliage for #wargame trees, rather than that lichen/moss that sheds and dries out into heinous dust. Once glued I might try to felt clumps into the faux foliage, though right now it looks passable.

PetSmart has aquarium plants both green and garish useful for #miniature #wargames jungles at good prices (these are $5 each). Bought more red-orange-purple ones for sci-fi gaming. Some stand on their own, others require a base (I used a 60mm MDF round base with flocking).

Completed and satisfied with my Lost Temple of Recycled Packaging terrain piece after more drybrushing, flocking, and (possibly too much) foliage. My ancient Grenadier Orcs of the Red hand (painted in high school) swarm over it for scale.

Having fun with my Lost Temple of Recycled Packaging #wargame #miniatures #terrain project. After adding some ruined packaging “blocks” and stairs, I painted the temple with old house paint, then black with dry-brushed gray (first coat). Old Grenadier orc for scale.

I finally painted another #miniature today! Maybe my second one ever? I'm proud of how it turned out actually.

It's one of Reaper Miniatures' "Nova Corps" troops. I think I'll make the others unique colors too, kinda like Master Chief's armor shades in Halo:CE. 😁

I find the refrigerator makes an excellent lighting environment. O.o
