This is the scorpion from the Japanese novel Night on the Galactic Railroad by Kenji Miyazawa.
It became a light in the sky, burning itself to illuminate others after its death.
Today I chose a head of a horse. Just because I have to learn to draw these nice animals.
I used images and other drawings as resource, sketched the action lines and then inked afterwards. And it was fun!
