to rename files, is there something like the "slow double click" on windows? it's in my bones and I'm annoyed of right clicking 😂

My mom is ready to move to linux, but since I'm a newbie myself, I need to ask you for help with this:
Apart from mails and surfing, she also uses her pc to back up her phone pictures. She copies them to her pc ad there's an external hard drive connected to it. We set up automatic mirroring of the files from the pc to the external ssd. So she basically doesn't have to take care for it except dropping her files to her computer.
I'd appreciate any help with this :)
Yep, I use it sometimes, although #newbies deserve a #warning: It can be very #slow, so don't judge the #OS's speed after that. Better try on a #USBstick to make sure.

@[email protected] @[email protected] - Any tool that can edit/extract/inject files from .trd images (ZX Spectrum BetaDisk) would be a decent start. - Software that can serve files to an Interface1 for ZX Spectrums. - Emulators for Pentagon/Scorpion/Evolution/Sprinter Clone variants (the later has a special MAME build that only exists for Windows).
My Linux Mint impressions Part IV
So was it worth it to change my distro?
Well, PoPos was good. No complains really. Linux mint seems to give me more power more easily to modify my setup how i see fit. It might be just surface level stuff like looks, colours etc but GUI in Mint is easy to understand and has lots of functions in hand. Reminds me of old windows where one still could play with settings right out the box.
I like Mint. Good distro, tasty flavor!
My Linux Mint impressions Part III
I discovered desklets!
I run 2 monitors with one vertical on my right. i won't share full screenshots since there is delicate (teehee!😋) info and contacts on signal in sight.
I think i will play with desklets to see if there is something really useful. I want maybe note taking desklet that would be always on hand on second monitor.
will see if these things are worth my time to play with or will i just run it clean.
My Linux Mint impressions Part II
I was able to setup everything in clean "old windows" style. No hassle. Just clean desktop without any distractions.
Just unistalled all the bloatware that i did not need. All thou there were not much of to begin with. Why would i need TV watching software? weird inclusion with standard install + some other things i did not need.
And since its Linux i can rely that I WILL DECIDE if i instal something back or not!
