Die Wahrscheinlichkeit dass Putin in zwei oder drei Jahren mit seinen Soldaten in Berlin steht ist deutlich geringer als dass die AfD im Kanzleramt oder dem Verteidigungsministerium sitzt. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit dass die Bundesregierung verbrecherische Angriffskriege & Genozid unterstützt müssen wir gar nicht erst ausrechnen. Das tut sie ja bereits.
Wer aktuell mehr Rüstung & mehr Soldaten fordert, der kippt Öl ins Feuer, während er die Augen schließt, damit er nicht sieht dass das Haus brennt.

TLDR: promised rail improvements don't seem to be completely off the table but I'm not sure what to think about the "boosting competition" part for tickets.
Wouldn't that fracture the market even more and make ticket buying more of a pain?

Anyways, the #eucommission is scheduled to propose a new legislative package focused on rail tomorrow, so we should know more about all of this fairly soon.
I'm glad #EuropeanRail seems to be getting more attention again :)

Anyone else remember the proposal by Apostolos #Tzitzikostas ( #EUCommissioner for "Sustainable Transport and Tourism") to introduce a unified #eu booking system for #rail by the end of 2025?
I haven't heard a thing about that since the announcement back in 2024 so I wrote an E-mail to his team, asking what became of the idea.
