Bei mir kam das heute bei der App für mein Geschäftskonto (Holvi).

Bis gestern konnte ich die App noch problemlos öffnen, aktualisieren und nutzen. Jetzt soll ich den Playstore nutzen bzw. die Updates von da ziehen.

Nutze an sich nur noch fdroid und Aurora, fluppte bis heute einwandfrei.

Überlege gerade, mal Holvi anzuschreiben und auf dieses unschöne Problem hinzuweisen.

Not many people know that I have authored a #Javascript web #framework called #storkCore. It was developed during the early days of #Holvi, and served the innovative original UI for years (I assume no longer, but I don't know for sure). Since then I've periodically updated it.

I think it's quite clever. Self-contained (also contains Self ;-)), no template lang, very lightweight, no build process, #MVC, with an OO model based on direct ob cloning.

Should finally do my #introduction.

In and around tech since 7, when I started programming as a kid living in #NorthernIreland (now in #Finland). The sheer magic of creating a world from a blank screen was like nothing else. Since then founded several companies including banking disruptor #Holvi, the new computer #Solu, and now #AttractiveAI. Also #demoscene event #AltParty.

Beyond that I enjoy writing and am 1st kyu in #aikido, with some #DaitoRyu, #iaido and #kobujutsu in the mix.

Back home in #Helsinki. Great work week in #London. Was awesome to meet and work with all the people at New Vector. I was super sad leaving #Holvi because I lost all the great colleagues. Now after this week I realize I still have great colleagues, even if I only see them live a little less. Hoping to make London quite a few times a year to keep the connection.

My colleagues just almost brought me to tears with a surprise 15 page presentation of my technical work at #Holvi. Which not so surprisingly has a lot of focus on testing tools, refactoring, cleanups and code quality.

Last day tomorrow, will really miss these people <3
