ECF Game 4 Interactive Shot Map

Montreal managed to increase some the total of shot on goals, but had no goals. Whereas in previous games they got much closer to the goal to shoot, in this game, the closest shot on goal was by Alex Newhook, at about 10ft. All Carolina goals came from the right side.

Game 3 shots for Carolina were on par for a game going late into OT1, with about 75 minutes of play. For Montreal, it was anything but normal, recording a low 13 shots on goals. It is true that many were high danger shots, but still, low even for the Canadiens (they are 25th in the league for number of shots but 7th in the league for number of goals).

The latest version adds the distance and blocked shots to the interactive map. Carolina shot 13 times on goal (not counting blocked shots and missed shots) from 40ft+, including the OT winner by Svechnikov at 42ft. That is the shot total for Montreal. Mike Matheson scored his goal from 39.6 ft
