Just as a mental note:
- It runs in the background (kills the UI to save RAM)
- Shouldn't load assets from SPAM mails.
- Accounts should show folders: Inbox, Important, Draft, All, Spam, Trash, and a menu with "the rest".

After login, if I open any application, icons becomes large like this. I find it quite annoying. Is there any solution?

It should look like the second screenshot.

So with #Ubuntu 26.04 around the corner, I been prepping to use besides #popos. Nothing wrong with #cosmic, but the new #gnome 50 release hits all my buttons. 😅

... Except tiling. I remembered there was a post years ago about better tiling in gnome called #mosaic. Cue in #MosaicWM by @CleoMenezesJr . Absolutely outstanding work in making window management better.

New in haikuports depot, Gnumeric 1.12.60, after watching @michel ‘s YT channel he mentioned the GTK spreadsheet application was missing. With a bit of fiddling it can be used now!

So, to who is interested: I published the source code so far for Gitte, a new GNOME Git GUI. Just be aware that this is still subject to rapid change since I am very early in development. I also don't have an application icon, yet (I can't do artwork, even if my life was on the line).

Also: remember, this is OSS. No warranty. No entitlement to anything. 🫣 That said, feedback welcome. Just create an issue 🙂

So, ich bin reiner Linux-Nutzer, null Pogrammier-Erfahrung. Ehemaliger Windows-Nutzer mit Mac-Erfahrung. Und ich mag diesen Ansatz von #Gnome, für jede Aufgabe ein kleines Programm zu nutzen.
Ich stehe häufiger vor der Herausforderung Bilder eines Events aus mehreren iPhones zusammen zu führen. Unter Windows habe ich bisher Namexif genutzt - klein und ohne Schnörkel. Unter #Linux suche ich so etwas noch händeringend. Exiftool ist noch nicht das was ich suche, daher bin ich für Tipps dankbar.
