An M4.4 flare peaked at 22h08 UT 10 Dec.
A 10.7cm radio burst and type II radio emission were observed, indicating the eruption of a CME (coronal mass ejection).

A shock in the solar wind has been detected at Goes 18 & 19 in geostationary orbit.
A geomagnetic storm warning for Kp5 (G1) conditions started at 21h15 UT.
The Bz is strongly south, indicating good possibilities for aurora at high-latitudes.
