this is now fully a #shader, only a pixeled mask texture is used for blending different pixel resolutions, which are pixelized in the shader (and dithered there as well)

For #goddel I created my own texture pixelization effect and pipeline.

Originally, I created this pixelized texture in #materialMaker by mixing multiple versions of different pixel resolutions together, ending up creating my own #shader for #godot, combining them there now to the final version, allowing me to change the resolution like I want in game.

For #goddel I implemented a material set editor to change materials on tiles directly from the internal level editor

In the last months and weeks I have been working heavily on my level editor for my #godot game called #Goddel, with a focus on stability and bug fixes, and as a base to extend the editor functionality later.

I have been working multiple month on my #UE5 #environment project, and a lot #materialMaker with this

This means finally: I have now time again for some really cool #godot projects,
mainly #liblast, this is sure, but also again some more work on my own game, #goddel

A first version of my game called Goddel, inspired by an old game from 1998 - Gubble (and especially Gubble II) - is now released : https://rbduck.itch.io/goddel

Though it is still in an early development stage
