Optimizing Memory Access in NIR

NIR은 Mesa 그래픽스 드라이버의 컴파일러 코어로, 복잡한 셰이더의 메모리 접근 최적화를 다룬다. WHY EXACTLY is #Steam downloading a gigabyte of shader pre-caches, despite the established #BestPractice of NOT interrupting #Shader #Compilation upon #Game startup?

#Stalker2 WILL recompile those, locally, most likely.

The Steam client is technically aware, that i'm using the #CachyOS flavour, and the PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 launch option. (Because i'm not aware of #AMD #FSR4 #WMMA mode #UpScale #FrameGen support in Valve Proton Experimental branch.)
