Why do we wake up shortly before our alarm goes off? It’s not by chance | The-14

Why does putting back the clocks an hour disrupt us so much? | The-14

Finally had a full straight #sleep for #NightShift instead of breaking my sleep into 2 sections. Getting use to the routine, but it took half a week, and there’s only half to go. Then I go back to normal shifts and have to reset the #bodyclock all over again.

I am now going to bed. My body clock is messed up.
My own fault for having a deep 3 hour nap in the evening.
At least my time from then to now has been constructive getting lots of the little projects done.
See y'all later today.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

The hidden power of light to guide your body’s sleep, energy, and digestion

Light exposure, especially in the morning, synchronizes the body clock, influencing sleep, focus, digestion, and overall health. Disrupted light timing can harm metabolism, mental health, and increase risks for diseases like diabetes and heart issues.

I think my body clock is entirely driven by the sun.

In summer I wake at 4 or 5 am and I'm out of bed before 7. In winter I might not get out of bed until 10 to 9 ..... and that's only because of a sense of guilt at being so lazy. 9 am seems like a line I mustn't cross!
