Cardiff Bus reflects on a year of progress, with key figures for 2024-2025:
• 573 staff members, 22 engineers, and 5 apprentices.
• 12 guide dog training sessions and 4 school visits promoting safety and sustainability.
• 8.8 million km travelled across Cardiff and Wales, 171,028 Cardiff Bus Interchange departures, and a fleet of 171 buses equipped with CCTV and contactless payment.
• 216 new tyres fitted and a 100% MOT pass rate.
• 55 electric buses reducing emissions and noise, with fuel savings of 2.64 million litres since 2019.
• 28.8% increase in contactless travel, with 1.82 million taps in 2024/25.
