Tree Swallow
with plans to land, but the current occupier of the landing spot did not seem inclined to share. So much of the beautiful sounds of tree swallows seems to be really be incessant squabbling over real estate.

I would not characterize the Spot-billed Pelican as one of the more beautiful birds. Definitely a better fit in the interesting face category.
