„These messages, repeated across boardrooms, keynotes, and manifestos, have been consistent: AI is happening, AI cannot be stopped, and anyone who thinks otherwise is naive at best and dangerous at worst.

Challenging this inevitability is the animating premise behind the AI Resist List, which launched yesterday as a collaboratively built, publicly accessible database documenting acts of resistance to the AI industry from across the world.“

For context, I’m seeing big accounts celebrate the recent successes that Mamdani and his administration have been giving. But then a few posts before or after, I’m seeing praise for the Clintons for example who endorsed Cuomo in the primaries and still tried to discredit him all the way until December of last year.
I feel like a lot of y’all are forgetting that Mamdani was called “too far left”. But now y’all are celebrating the wins he is bringing while also glazing the same establishment politicians who tried to bury Zohran’s campaign including using blatant islamophobia?

Make it make sense 🙄

So to conclude, we are governed by a bunch of psychopathic idiots who know better than to develop fossil fuel energy sources and secure them with weapons at the expense of transitioning completly to renewables.

I just don’t have the patience anymore for the sycophantic rectum licking of people like Danielle Smith and Mark Carney let alone the psychopathic clown show to the south of us.

The ones who knew and who had the power but did nothing will assure us of our demise.

For the past 25 years the world has spent something like 50 trillion dollars in military spending, a lot of which went directly to war.

The IEA says, basically, if we had spent that money on renewable energy over the past 25 years we would be very clean now.

https://www.iea.org/reports/world-energy-investment-2025/executive-summary

Trends in World Military Expenditure, 2025

This SIPRI Fact Sheet examines the regional and national military expenditure data for 2025 and trends over the decade 2016–25. The data, which replaces all military spending data previously published by SIPRI, comes from the updated SIPRI Military Expenditure Database.

And therefore I simply have to conclude that those that are propping up this form of energy and doing everything they can to subvert a full transition to renewables are idiots.

Evil, greedy, sociopathic idiots.

There is no reason to double down on fossil fuels and not do a full scale global push towards complete transition.

I was just admiring a large solar panel roof over a parking garage in a medieval town in the Var valley on France.

It is pure idiocy that we still power the earth with fossil fuels despite knowing better, despite the damage they cause, the wars they incite and the health issues.

There is no reason that we should be a quarter of the way through this century and still primarily power in GB the world with oil and gas.

If this is what the Israeli authorities do to people the world is watching, imagine what they do to people with no voice and no visibility. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/m...

Omg the Conservative MP whose grandson was named “Charlie Kirk” edited the post so it no longer says “Kirk.”

The new version simply says “Charlie.”

Here’s the edit history:
I’m travelling for work and I wasn’t planning to film a video today.

Then I saw something I couldn’t ignore.

An Israeli cabinet minister posted a video to social media revelling in the abuse of detained flotilla activists, including Canadians.

And our government is hardly doing anything about it:
