Falbygden in Sweden has among other ancient remains three quarters of all of Sweden’s passage tombs. About 260 monuments have survived. This makes Falbygden home to one of the largest concentrations of megalithic tombs in northern Europe. #StandingStoneSunday

Lots and lots of castles, forts, burial mounds, and churches in this area of the Welsh borderlands ... but today I went to seek out one of our few stone circles, imaginatively called 'Four Stones'.

Apparently, there may have been a 5th stone which is now the font in a local church, so went there too.
