Last week we raised $1032 and it all got put to instant use! Bills and fees tamed and some basic needs covered, now we need to use this next week to stay on top of those basic needs and get some bigger ticket things like insulation!

I'm in a continued situation with my partner @Kuniti_shino where we are doing our best to find ways to do the right thing for everyone without compromising our principles or becoming subservient to our corporate abusers or landlords (the rent is too damn high anyway). We are building something awesome for public benefit: The Vulpibus.

It's our home, lab and hackerspace on wheels and even an occasional rescue vehicle. Our appliances aboard it are solar powered, we can even charge our Nissan Leaf EV from it.

But this all comes at a cost in this capitalist society, and while we do as much as we can with free stuff, some things remain stubbornly costly:
Food (e.g. milk)
Insurance
Car loan payments (even second hand the Leaf still cost way more money than we have)
Fuel for the Vulpibus (both to drive around and for space heating)
Internet
Insulation

I'm making many different efforts to obtain what we need without money being required (to a surprising degree of success for many material items thanks to Freecycle and what gets abandoned at a truckstop and some very nice people).

However, some things just have to involve currency to solve them, such as bureaucracy fees, car loan, car insurance and internet bills.

I am making new efforts to find reliable income remotely, but while that remains uncertain, we seriously need #MutualAid help with covering our bills and obligations.
