An important member of the Pnictogen Wing has been practically disabled for a while. Mono the Unicorn took serious damage from a cursed book (that may sound ridiculous but it's true) many months ago, and their convalescence has been extremely difficult, with many ups and downs. But apparently Mono has finally been repaired (they're partly mechanical now, which was a very difficult adjustment for him) and is feeling fit for front-line duty again.

He says he's made some new friends! Especially, it would seem, Harriet Vane and Lord Peter, who is offering his services as a detective (of course.)

🔬 Any #plural systems out there with shell alters? Especially #polyfragmented or #osdd1a systems.

Have you& had any luck fusing or integrating them with someone inside the shell?

Ours is particularly depersonalized and while they've been very helpful in keeping us safe and hidden through the years, I'm thinking the only way we get direct access to the body and the emotions is if we re-integrate them into someone else in the system.

getting an analogue watch seems to be one of the best quality of life things for being plural so far.

• its comforting to have the time not on my helldevice
• the ticking sound is useful for grounding
• being forced to stare at the thing to figure out the time is grounding
• it makes us more aware of the passage of time. time blindness is a real issue

i (Sarah) am having complex but good feelings right now. Just got out of our second appointment with the new therapist. At one point he mentioned that there's a lot of fake DID online and i told him how i often wonder if this is actually real for me or if i am just making it up somehow. He told me that he thinks it's definitely real for me and that i do have some sort of dissociative disorder, and i started crying. On the one hand it felt like a relief to be affirmed by someone who specializes in this stuff, but i also told him that i didn't really want it to be true. i don't. But the evidence just keeps piling up and getting harder to ignore. So i am feeling both relieved and anxious about this at the same time, but mostly i just look forward to talking more with him. He also told us (he spoke to both me and Crow) that he is also a system, which i suspected but is nice to have confirmed.
