Hallo, ich hab eine kleine Frage für einen Freund, der an einige Apple-Geräte gebunden ist:

Kennt ihr einen guten Mail-Client für Apple, bei dem mensch nicht gezwungen wird, eine neue Mail-Adresse anzulegen oder KI zuzulassen? Wir sind gerade ein wenig am verzweifeln.

Es geht um ein Tablet und ein Smartphone.

In meiner heilen Open Source Welt nutze ich sonst FairMail und früher mal Thunderbird, aber nun... da kommen wir bei Apple nicht weit.

Has anyone used Ellipsus for their writing here? And if yes - could you tell me how much storage space it has, or how does it store your texts?

Also can you store images in the files somehow (like google docs)?

I am seriously considering creating a #lemmy community for "Sunken Castles, Evil Poodles", my project for translating German folk tales. But I am not sure that my current instance, ttrpg.network, is the best thematic fit. Thus, a few questions:

1. What lemmy instance _would_ be a good thematic fit, which also (a) keeps its software up to date and (b) is fast?

2. Is the instance migration process for accounts as painless as with Mastodon?

3. Bonus question: Is there a way of integrating the feed from a lemmy community into external websites (such as a #WordPress site)? I always like to showcase the Fediverse elsewhere, when I can.

EDIT: I _think_ you can only create communities on the same lemmy instance where you have registered. But if I am wrong, please correct me!
