Beans are quite dense, grind feels like workout. In cup it's blueberry-forward, herbal and bright. Hot it doesn't impress, but once it cools becomes juicy and complex. Definitely worth a slow sip.

At least four people lost their lives, and over 70 hectares of crops were damaged as heavy rains triggered floods and landslides across Rwanda, according to a report by the Ministry in Charge of Emergency Management. The disasters came after a warning from the national meteorological agency, which had forecast daily rainfall of up to 60 millimetres in Kigali and other regions. Samuel Dusengiyumva, the Mayor of the City of Kigali, said the downpour temporarily halted the movement of people and goods in several areas, including Gatenga in Kicukiro District, Café Nyakabanda in Nyarugenge, and Kinamba near the Nyabugogo bus station. The Ministry also reported that at least 522 disaster hotspots were identified nationwide, placing around 22,000 households, an estimated 97,000 people, at risk.
