Plumbago blooms in Kigali. These flowers are everywhere in Rwanda, but up close they show remarkable detail, the veining, the calyxes, the way light plays across the petals.

Strange situation last night in Kigali.

My car had ~100km range (3 bars) yesterday. I only drove 10–20km total.

This morning: <8km remaining + low fuel warning.

That kind of drop overnight doesn’t make sense.

Possible fuel theft? Sensor issue? Not sure. I refueled right away, so no photo evidence.

Anyone experienced something similar?

I stand with #Rwanda during this painful time of remembrance. This period, known as Icyunamo or Kwibuka, brings back the deep wounds of April 1994, when so many innocent lives were taken during the genocide against the Tutsi.

It hurts even more knowing that many members of my own family were among those lost. I never had the chance to know them, to hear their voices or to share in their lives but today, I remember them with all my heart. They are not forgotten.🕯️
