Seems I need to take less magnesium and perhaps earlier in the evening because I’m so hecking tired. It’s 150mg in the cacao sachets I had, and maybe 80mg in the one I’m looking at buying to replace it. Could take two a day if necessary. I guess building up to a lot is a good idea. Plain cacao gives about 25mg per tablespoon already.
So far I have got to sleep easier, but still woken up after four hours. Then no trouble getting back to sleep. Getting better sleep at long last can also bring more tiredness as body cries out for more. Also I’m quite stiff, having a big break from my usual chiropractor (also due to tiredness, yay).
Bisglycinate is the type in my sachets, I’ve heard it’s the gentlest perhaps. And good for sleep, so if the sleepiness is too much maybe other types are better eg malate, citrate. But firstly I wanted the gentleness. Last time it must have been influenced by medications that were being unfriendly so I’m glad I tried again.
