It really sucks to need non pbs medication. As someone who had to manage it means even working full time above minimum wage, i have to sacrifice doing anything non-essentiala and some essential things. They wont ever put my medication on pbs, tho. So i should probably just be happy that i have access.

ok switching off of Venlafaxine is not going well. Was on 150mg ER per day for about 3 months, after gradually increasing dose to that point over another 2 months. So 5 months / 20 weeks on it in total. Titrated down by adding Fluoxetine 20mg per day and reducing Venlafaxine to 112.5 mg ER per day for 1 week, then 75 mg ER per day for 1 week, and finally 37.5mg ER per day for 1 week. I took the last dose of 37.5 over the weekend, and have been on only the Fluoxetine ever since.

So my question is, how long is SSRI withdrawal supposed to last? I literally cannot function. I can't work, can't drive, can't even stand up reliably. I'm in so much pain (physical sensitivity, nausea, and brain zaps) and my brain isn't working right (mood swings, depression, anxiety, confusion, chronic sleepiness, emotional disregulation). Eating is a toss-up whether I can get food down or just feel too sick to swallow.

This has been going on for days and it needs to stop. Boosts appreciated please.
