Out of the #hospital. They didn't operate, instead electing to make me pass this #KidneyStone on my own.
A little ticked off at my primary care Dr.'s office staff. Called two days in a row to ask for some #toradol and #flowmax and was told I'd get a call back. The call back never came. This meant I went to the ER and spent over $2000.00 I don't have (after insurance) when it could've cost me less than $100.00.
My doc didn't even know I'd called or anything was wrong until Saturday morning, four days after my first call to the office. He showed up in my hospital room Saturday morning, and I told him what had happened.
He's not happy, and said he'd have a talk with his staff about it. I wasn't calling asking for controlled substances, and it wasn't emergent, but their inability to forward a message caused me three days of intense #pain completely unnecessarily.
So I'm taking meds until this thing passes.
At least I can eat again.
