Did a test run before I make aquafaba pav for Christmas lunch.
This time I tried adding xanthan gum. It's humid and I didn't want to risk a failure that means I have to crack another can of chickpeas (I hate them). The pukekos I've been giving them to are getting fat.
Using xanthan gum makes it impossible to figure out if it's reached stiff peaks or not. It's also hard to mix by hand.
I also found this #vegan recipe for tiramisu I'm going to make later.
I'm not much of a baker, which is to say I'm terrible at it. Tell me what dish you want and I can cook a decent version with one eye closed. Ask me to bake something and I'm probably going to burn the house down.
Such was the case when I attempted to bake Apple Cider Donut Bread yesterday. (Not really)

Anmerkung: Nach dem Rezept soll man 6 Cookies auf ein Blech und das ergäbe mit dem Eisportionierer dann 2 Bleche. Also ich hab (inkl. dem einen Riesigen der der Dame des Hauses gehört) 17 Cookies rausgekriegt. Also wären es sogar eigentlich 3 Bleche mit á 6
