@combs among the ruins, one URL segment stood alone: "ourpages" 🤔
(did you already see the Soviet cartoon btw?)
@nixCraft too modular sometimes. Yes, I want to make it my own. But also, sometimes I wish Linux had an interchangeable unified desktop experience spec, so that a new desktop experience didn't have to be a distro. Rather, it could be like opening a greeting card version of someone else's desktop.
Imagine if this spec had a bundled app development system as well, like Gambas. Desktop experience theory would be light years ahead due to shared knowledge, since desktop apps could also flow via this channel.
Maybe: "(Distro + Apps) shared as AppImage"
@stevegio keepassxc works pretty well

Some recent fractal concept art...

I came across this Hoary bat today, at the end of my hike. It was flipped on its back, shivering on the cold & wet pavement.
I carefully flipped it over as it hissed at me like a cat and bared its cute little fangies.
Then it took a few steps and flew off like a little air force hedgehog. #hiking

Have any #Linux users tried this? It's called Swiss File Knife, and is a #FOSS utility available via Sourceforge.
It contains 100 command line utilities of various types.
It downloads to Linux as a single binary and is pretty easy to run and use so far.
Kind of fascinating, too, that it's cross-platform...
I haven't used it much but I'm wondering if it might be simpler than some similar Linux utilities.
