I was quite young in the early 80s, but the later years of the #C64 were on my radar, and a machine I lusted over at the time (along side the Amiga).
I read a lot of Compute's Gazette and INFO magazines, despite not having a Commodore for a long time, but that was about as close as I'd get until I later picked up a C128.
So I was _there_.
And I don't ever remember the Commodore logo being referred to as a 'chicken head' or 'chicken lips'. Or chicken anything, really.
The new #Commodore likes to reference this, but I swear to god I never made or heard a connection like that before.
I mean, I SEE IT, right, I'm not blind. But I also REALLY fucking hate it.
Was this a European thing? Maybe that's why? I dunno. :/
