So this is what replacing human workers with AI bots looks like? 🀑

I am not a deeply religious person, nor do I have any problem with anyone’s faith. However, when such strong statements come from someone very high in the hierarchy, I wonder how AI companies will react. They (AI ceos) pretend to be nice people, but in the end, it is all about money, isn't it? They dont care about job losses, the environment damage, or wars despite warning coming from every part of the world. It ALL is about money, and they will do anything to get it. What a sad reality & greed

"Idolatry of profit"

That might be one of the strong phrases I've heard anyone use about the AI companies. Pope Leo has called for *robust regulation* of AI and limits on its use for warfare, as he warned of the dangers of a technological revolution driven by "the idolatry of profit". That is an incredibly strong statement coming from the Vatican and I wonder how will AI companies will react? Let me take a wild guess? They will ignore him. Take jobs. Use it for wars.

^^^ I gave you simple version but nuanced version will be much longer. I'm no expert but that is how I remember dot-com or 2008 crash and job loss.

Nobody can predict exact dates or timeline. That is the nature of the beast. What you can do is prepare yourself for a longer period of job loss or income instead of having 6 months of expenses saved, aim for 12 to 18 months. This provides peace of mind, and with a clear head it is much easier to adapt to the new job market post-crash. That is all

For those asking when the AI bubble will burst? ah, yes. that is a big question. See, it is not a single day event. These kinds of crash happen over years. The dot-com bubble burst wasn’t a single day event, it was stretched over 2 to 3 years until everyone accepted that the market had reached its down peak, after which it remained flat for a long time. hence the term lost decade post dot-com crash. these are stock market related terms and then you experience job/income loss in tech sector badly
