Say you want to build an AI-free fork of an operating system (kernel, userspace and all). Then step two after forking everything's last pre-ChatGPT version would be to backport fixes for all vulnerabilities found in the last ~3.5 years. So what if AI corps funding the search for new vulnerabilities and flooding important projects with CVEs is not only a PR stunt, but also a way to make it harder to cut them out of the picture? 1/2
