2001: A Space Odyssey

This album hits so many buttons for me. The cover art, the use of classical music for #SciFi and organs to boot.

The #CoverArt is the best…capturing perfectly the interests of my formative years…this was one of the first adult movies I saw at a “theater” (drive in) as a kid. Double feature with Silent Running…which was also an important futuristic movie, though it got almost none of the hype that 2001 did.

Just used @ScoppyScope to double check the peak voltage of an RC receiver PWM signal. Pretty amazing - a @Raspberry_Pi pico + an Android device + USB OTG cable and you have a scope for simple tasks like this. For a hobbyist like me, this is pretty handy!

I just discovered #joinin and think its a beautiful thing.

I have to celebrate christmas alone this year for the first time in about 15 years (and I am only 33). A recent breakup made me very unstable in the last weeks, but seeing this kind of community on Mastodon make me happy and get through the day.
