El Juzgado de Garantía de Coyhaique fijó para el 11 de febrero de 2026 la audiencia de formalización en la causa que investiga la presunta obtención fraudulenta de casi $26 millones en recursos del FNDR, vinculados a proyectos adjudicados a la Fenats de Aysén. En el proceso serán formalizadas seis personas, entre ellas Roland Cárcamo Catalán y Carla Graf Toledo —quienes también están siendo investigados en la causa que tiene al diputado Miguel Ángel Calisto desaforado— incluyendo además al padre y a la hermana de Cárcamo Catalán. Asimismo, el tribunal también autorizó el levantamiento del secreto bancario de parte de los imputados para reconstruir el flujo de los recursos públicos investigados.

woah, I did not know how much more customization-friendly #KDE is compared to #XFCE. Wish I had switched a long time ago. I was able to make KDE look like #CDE with the Commonality theme and it looks way more complete than any theme I've had on XFCE.

And in 2012 #KDE and #GNOME were already really good and so probably nobody cared about #CDE any more ...

Or did it get made use of, at least in parts, for some modern desktop environment? Or are there even user and developer communities of the free code of CDE (will it get ported to Wayland)?

This is a CDE on Mageia 9. It took me several hours and consultations with friendly people on Mageia forums to make it work.
CDE is very archaic so I had to rebuild the whole Motif library reverting some recent patches before compiling CDE itself. My tiny HP Stream 14 laptop with Intel N3060 CPU had a hard time building this monstrosity.
Now the hardest part comes: figuring out why I did this and what do I actually do with it.

Freshly updated CDE 2.5.3 on NetBSD.
Have to check if it still builds on SPARC though.

The recently released #CDE 2.5.3 runs on #XLibre.

That may bring back some memories of good times, tears shed, or other sentiments… Yes, we are almost at the end of 2025, and CDE is still working.
